ST. CHARLES, ILL. – Linda Thew McCreery passed away April 13, 2012, at her home.
Linda was born Nov. 13 in Youngstown to C. Wayne and Mary Louise Thew and was reared in Boardman, graduating from Boardman High School.
Mrs. McCreery is survived by her husband, Tom; three children, Melissa (Tim) Balogh of St. Charles, Jennifer (Gary) Trampas of Madison, Ala., and Tim of Geneva, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Jenna, Shelby, Maddie, Lizzie, Jake, Jamie, Ally and John; two sisters, Judy (Brann) Young of Canfield and Ginny Tek Eyck of Boardman; a brother, Tim (Jan) Thew of Berkley Heights, N.J.; nephews Jon and Alex; nieces Meg and Christy; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, in St. Charles.

Linda, we worked together for years at Boardman Sparkle. You were a great friend, and it saddened me when you moved away. And the sadness was repeated when I learned of your passing.
