Dave was my lab partner in Mr. Massaro's chemistry class, and he was in my homeroom throughout jr. high and high school, so I got to know him fairly well. He was a gentle, kind, and considerate person, and I always knew he would do something great. He held several degrees, and was a much loved and respected professor at a number of universities, including Utah State University, National University of Taiwan, and Austin Peay State University. He lived most recently in Clarksville, Tennessee, and died July 22, 2011.
