Bob Evans left us on February 21st, 2023 at the age of 73. Robert Evans was born on October 15th, 1949 to Lynn Evans and Robert Evans in Youngstown, Ohio. Bob served in the United States Navy and served in Vietnam serving on the USS Chara.

Bob and family relocated from New York in 1984 from Long Island, NY to Port St Lucie, FL and began work as a carpenter building homes around Port St Lucie. In his free time he enjoyed playing golf and watching the Yankees. During the remaining years of his life he resided in Palm City Nursing and Rehab and was well known around the facility as a friendly and a joy to chat with.

Robert is survived by Carolyn Evans his sister, Robert B Evans his son, Sarah Marie Velasquez his daughter and by his 5 grandchildren Griffin Evans, Gabriel Evans, Lukas Velasquez, Kevin Velasquez Jr, lliany Velasquez

To honor Robert's memory, we will be holding a celebration of his life on April 15th, 2023 at 1pm at Yates Funeral Home 526 SW Port St Lucie Blvd. We invite anyone who knew him to attend and remember his wonderful life.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Treasure Coast Hospice.
